Capacity and Swimming

We are down to the last few days of school!  It is hard to keep everyone on task and focused these days but we certainly try!  This morning we went outside for our math lesson.  We used different-sized containers to compare capacity.  Students used sand to pour from one container to another to see which container had the greatest capacity. 
We walked down to the park for lunch and then had a great time in the pool.  Both the water and weather were just wonderful! The walk back up the hill was a little more difficult!
